Property & Casualty Insurance Sales Agent / Account Manager

Responsibilities to include:

  • Prospecting for clients
  • Sale of auto, home, condo and other personal lines insurance products
  • Growth of insurance personal lines book
  • Answer incoming calls and handle endorsements for existing clients

Prospects will come from a variety of sources including, but not limited to leads provided from inside the agency (client base, employee referrals, direct mail campaigns, etc.) and outside the agency including the agent’s own circles of influence, client referrals, community/business networking, cold-calling, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Highly motivated and driven to excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- Must be honest, engaging, personable, empathetic
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Knowledge of Personal Lines insurance helpful
  • Detail-oriented, organized and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Technical skills: Data entry, internet, Word, Excel,
  • Experience using Insurance CRM/Agency Management and EZLYNX Insurance quoting systems
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in an independent and efficient manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Ability to make decisions in accordance w/ established practices and procedures

As an Property & Casualty Insurance Sales Agent/Producer, you will be eligible to receive:
